We process personal data in accordance with:

  • Lebanese Law No. 81/2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data
  • GDPR, insofar as personal data of individuals in the EU is processed

We collect data when you:

  • book tours, transfers, car rentals or package tours
  • purchase travel or health insurance via a link
  • participate in giveaways/competitions
  • use contact forms

  • date of birth, nationality
  • passport / ID information
  • address, email, phone number
  • travel, booking and car rental details
  • payment and invoicing information
  • IP address, browser and access data

Note: For insurance services, we act only as an intermediary. Your data is processed directly by the respective insurer; we do not store sensitive insurance data.

7. Marketing, Offers & Giveaways

If you explicitly consent, we use your data (name, email, phone number, interest information) to contact you about travel offers and special promotions, insurance offers as well as giveaways and raffles. Data may be exchanged between AMD German Center (Lebanon) and AMD Tarifcheck e.K. (Germany).

8. International Data Transfers

Since AMD German Center is based in Lebanon (a third country), personal data may be transferred to a third country, subject to appropriate security measures.

9.1 Services used and recipients

We use the following services to operate this day tour website:

  • Netlify (Netlify Inc., USA) – hosting and delivery of the website. When you open a page, technically necessary server data is processed: IP address, date and time, page requested and browser identification (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Google Maps and Google Places (Google Ireland Ltd., Ireland) – map display of the tour route and pick-up location suggestions in the booking form. These services load when the page is opened; your IP address is transmitted to Google and a transfer to the USA is possible. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a comprehensible route display (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The Google privacy policy applies in addition: policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Google Apps Script and Google Sheets (Google Ireland Ltd.) – receipt and storage of your booking request. The data you enter in the form is transmitted: name, email, phone/WhatsApp, requested tour, date, number of participants, pick-up location, preferred contact method, special notes and – if present – a partner ID.
  • WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Ltd.) – only if you actively use the WhatsApp button. In that case the WhatsApp terms apply in addition.

Data is passed on to further third parties only where this is necessary to deliver the service you requested – for example to the driver, the guide or a local provider.

9.2 Partner ID from QR codes

If you reach this site through a partner QR code (for example a hotel), we store the partner identifier and a related reference in your browser for the duration of your visit (session storage). It is used solely to attribute a referral correctly and is deleted when you close the browser tab. No personal profiles are created.

Technical and organisational measures protect against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

11. Storage Duration

Data is stored only as long as necessary for the stated purposes or where statutory retention periods apply.
